Regular inspections are essential to identify and fix problems in your system before they cause loss of property or life. This is also a code-required task to ensure that you continue to meet any applicable building codes. We follow all NFPA guidelines in our inspections, and our certified technicians can conduct regular maintenance services and can set up any needed repairs to keep your system in good working order.
Our name may say fire sprinklers, yet we don’t stop there. We also offer fire hydrant inspection, service, repairs and replacements. A fire hydrant must be inspected annually and after each operation. The flow must be tested each year and maintenance must be performed annually as well. Not only is it critical to regularly schedule private fire hydrant service to ensure the hydrant is working correctly and effectively, but it’s also a necessity to remain compliant within the parameters of the NFPA 25 fire code. Neglecting to schedule regular inspections on a private fire hydrant can leave your business at risk. If the hydrant isn’t properly maintained, the full functionality of its use is questionable and possibly a liability.
Did you know your fire sprinkler system has a backflow prevention device? Which must be inspected on an annual basis. Many of the risks posed by backflow systems can be mitigated by being proactive about inspections. Our licensed inspector(s) will conduct inspections and provide you with a comprehensive report. All devices that pass inspection will be visibly tagged to reflect their status as up to code. Many states and municipalities make annual testing and inspection of backflow preventers mandatory. Tests must be conducted by a licensed fire sprinkler inspector certified in backflow prevention testing. During backflow testing, the inspector must verify that none of the stagnant, non-potable water in your fire sprinkler system is backing up into the potable water system in your building or structure.
Backflow issues are not only a threat to the safety of your community’s drinking water, they can be an expensive problem for the owner of the property with the faulty device.
